These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the U-Shop platform and services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the service.
Description of Service
U-Shop is a multi-vendor marketplace platform that enables businesses to create customized online storefronts and connect with customers. Our services include:
- Online store creation and customization tools
- Product catalog management
- Payment processing integration (via PaySync)
- Order management systems
- Customer communication tools
- Analytics and reporting features
User Accounts
Account Creation
To use certain features of our service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Account Requirements
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- You must keep your account information up to date
- You are responsible for all activity on your account
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Sell prohibited or illegal items

- Upload malicious code or viruses

Payment Terms
Subscription Fees
Our services are provided on a subscription basis. You agree to pay all applicable fees as described in your chosen plan. Fees are billed monthly and are non-refundable except as required by law. The current fee is R250/month (excl. VAT) for the Premium plan.
Transaction Fees
We may charge transaction fees for payment processing. These fees will be clearly disclosed before you complete any transaction.
Intellectual Property
Our Content
The service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by U-Shop and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Your Content
You retain ownership of content you upload to the service. By uploading content, you grant us a license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the service.
Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the service, to understand our practices regarding the collection and use of your personal information.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately.
Disclaimer
The service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaim all other warranties including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall U-Shop be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the service.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
